So after lots of searching we've felt the most at home with Chapel Hill. Like I said in my text it's like Kirkwood only longer and 4 lanes of traffic, but it's gorgeous! We found a place Farrington something. It has 2 pools and a pond. The boys found a turtle in the pond and were trying to feed it leaves.
Everywhere we walk I think "Oh I have to take Lee there" or "Lee would love this" I already told Trent when you get back from the Holy Land, you're coming straight here!
Hank has a new word "Dodo" aka donut. Isn't that sad! I'm ready to be done with the hotels and living in the van. You should see it! Gus insisted on having hot chocolate from a gas station on the way here and he spilled it all over his side of the van. When the door opens it now has a sticky sound-YUCK!!!
I have so much I want to tell you...Hank Heffernan has been a trooper, especially in the van!
Gus has been his usual self....ok I have to go Trent is getting fussy. I'll try to be better about this bog thing!!!
Oh my gosh! I was so excited to see this blog entry. Am missing you a ton. When do you move into the new place? A pond is going to be so great. Turtles! My favorite. I've been reading about chapel hill.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work here with the blog!!!!
Just got back from buying a new computer since FV wants mine back. I copied you and got a hard snap on case. Not pink tho. Clear.
